Avoid the usual 9.5% or 15% IGIC.

Electric cars and hybrids emitting no more than 110 g/km WLTP qualify for 0% IGIC, compared with the 9.5% or 15% normally applicable to passenger cars without this tax benefit.

The limit includes exactly 110 g/km. Above it, a hybrid does not meet this requirement for the zero rate. We check the homologated information for the specific car.

The saving is the tax charge avoided, not a promise that the total price will be 9.5% or 15% lower. Zero-rated IGIC does not automatically remove other taxes or costs.

What about other taxes?

Tax treatment is reviewed for the specific car and transaction. The final quotation includes applicable taxes, customs handling and registration procedures.

Technical documentation

If the CoC is missing, a replacement or a reduced technical sheet may be needed. The required documents are determined for the specific car; a missing CoC does not automatically mean individual approval is required.

Electrocoches is a brand of Certo Motor & Renting S.L. We purchase and resell used electric cars and plug-in hybrids on our own account, sourcing from Europe for customers throughout the Canary Islands.

Certo Motor & Renting S.L. is the seller, issues the invoice and is responsible for the seller’s applicable statutory conformity obligations. Any remaining manufacturer warranty is separate cover.
